McCain using Push Polling
Based on research about the company (Wilson Research Strategies) illegedly responsible for the recent push polling of Jewish voters as described by Ben Smith on Politico.com, it seems that Tyler Haber, who is listed on the WRS Executive Team along with Byron Allen among others, has appeared as a "Republican Strategist" on Fox News. See excerpt here. The transcript is somewhat telling, in that it seems he says "we," falters, then restates his affiliation as not with the McCain campaign, but with WRS. Without hearing/seeing the clip - its really hard to tell.
This would seem to be pretty pathetic/ironic/outrageous - you choose - considering McCain accused his rivals of the same thing in the previous election.
Push Polling should be illegal. Here are a few of the questions in the poll, according to Ben Smith's source:
"Would it change your mind about Obama if you knew that his church was anti-Israel? Would it change your mind if you knew that the of leaders Hamas had endorsed Obama? Would it change your mind if you knew he had met with the leaders of Hamas?"
Seems like push polling to me.
Shoot me now. I'm going to make cookies and whip up a martini.
